The Coco Island, a historic destiny

This amazing place has more than two hundreds different species of plants, eighty five kinds of birds. Also, the huge number of different marine species is one of the reasons why a lot of scientists from all around the world, travels to the Coco Island.
Uvita Island, beauty in the deep
Three kilometers far from the cost and in a twenty minutes travel on boat from Puerto Limon, you can find this beautiful destiny. The first name for this island was “The Huerta” and was named by Christopher Columbus in 1502. The island has basics services like clean water, electricity, food courts and places where you can camp.
Another paradise, The Caño Island
Fifteen kilometers from the coast and in front the Corcovado National Park is this dreamed place. You can get there on boat from Golfito. In the past was use as a cemetery for the Indians and also as ceremony center. Today you can find an almost perfects stone balls from the past.
The island has some beaches and it's surrounded by woods with big trees. There are not a lot of animals here but still you can find some over the island. This place is special for those who enjoy the sport of diving.
Cahuita will make you come back
Located in Limon, this place offers you lots of facilities to camp, with basics services. The tourist can find here parking for their vehicle and also has a viewpoint to enjoy.
If you prefer the beach, Costa Rica is special
This country has an impressive variety of beaches, from little beaches with white sand to big amazing beaches with gray sand. Costa Rica has some unbelievable places to rest and enjoy with the family.

Near Bonita Beach there are others beauties like Nancite and Naranjo Beach. Here the nature has and event that you can’t forget because during the months April, June, July and August hundreds of thousands of sea turtles come here and leave their eggs as a fundamental part of the reproduction cycle.
On the Caribbean part of the country you can also watch this phenomenon, however it happen on September and October.
